Ds4windows pcsx211/10/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: You should also try swapping the wires/using different wires to see if that solves it too.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Ill share how I setup my controller for "DirectInput" only. Have you tried using the wireless option before? Also can you post screenshots of your "General/Pad 1/Pad 2" tabs in PCSC2 before and after configuring? Sorry this might sound like a lot to ask but it will help me determine some things. I recommend wiping the previous mapped buttons before remapping them just in case. Make sure you also go back to remap the buttons too. Only one of them should respond to that controller. Itll be hard to visually tell the difference between both controllers when wired in PCSX2, but you can just highlight one of the "DX Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)"(Theres gonna be 2 of them) and "test the device". If you want to use wired option only then make sure you go check the checkbox for "DirectInput" and uncheck the checkbox for "Xinput" and click apply at the bottom. If youre using wired controllers then it would be "DirectInput" instead of "Xinput", though the controller should still be read as both if youre using DS4Windows. I derped when explaining the "other" option but basically after you created/have a profile already, open it and then the "other" option should be visible at the top right. Once done with "Xinput Pad 0" then test "Xinput Pad 1". The value should change when pressed from 0.000 to 1.000 if you mapped it properly and if theyre working. To test, in the "Generals" tab, highlight "XInput Pad 0" and click the "Test Device" option below. Once assigned then you can test them out. But also make sure your buttons is are properly assigned. By default they should work? At least from my experience it does. ![]() In the LilyPad settings(Config Tab>Controllers (PAD)>Plugin settings), make sure the "Xinput (Xbox 360 controllers only)" checkbox is CHECKED and click apply. PCSX2 should read your wireless controllers as "Xinput Pad 0" as controller 1 and "XInput Pad 1" As controller 2.The game wont register DS4windows if you open it after launching the game, just close the game and restart it after opening DS4windows to fix that. Always start DS4windows before launching any games.Save it and make sure that controller is on that saved profile. I know that there is an option to have it as an PS4 controller but atm it doesnt seem to be reacting well with most of the other programs ive tried, but this might just be personally me. To do this you would go into the "Profile" tab, Create A New Profile, "Other" tab, change the "Controller" option at the bottom to Xbox360. Make sure the profile option's controller is set to Xbox360.To find out your bit version, open up the "My computer/This PC" folder and right click it then choose properties. Have you downloaded the right DS4windows bit version for your PC? I know if you have the wrong version then it would crash DS4windows if you attempt to go into exclusive mode.Im not an expert at this either but I had my own trials of troubleshooting DS4windows before, though im still having trouble on some parts too and still learning. ![]()
